A Fun and Rewarding Way to Spend a Weekend with your Little

All donations go toward helping us match more children in the community with a mentor. This is an easy and fun way to teach your Little the importance of serving a cause greater than themselves! Information for Bigs to use when discussing tobacco with Littles
The ideas and words you use when talking to your Little about smoking should be tailored to their age. The consequences will be better received.
Ages 6 - 8
Using words like "stinky" and "yucky" can help reinforce the message that you do not approve of smoking.
Ages 9-11
Use visuals: if you see an ad in a magazine that makes smoking look disgusting, cut it out and share it with your Little.
Ages 12-18
Share a connection to a real life health consequence—maybe a friend with lung cancer—with your Little.
