Young Professionals Committee

The purpose of the BBBS Young Professionals Committee is to develop leadership skills of the young professionals while they assist Big Brothers Big Sisters in raising funds and recruiting volunteer Big Brothers and Big Sisters.

The Young Professionals Committee has accomplished the following:

Hosts the Big On Campus event 4 times a year which allows employees from large companies to take a sneak peek at how fun it is to be a Big in School mentor.
Raised enough money to provide 7 more children with mentors through the Bowl for Kid’s Sake Fundraiser.
Coordinates an annual YPC’s BIG Crawl to attract and engage over 300 young adults to Big Brothers Big Sisters.
Spread the mission of Big Brothers Big Sisters at several community events, such at the River Festival, Reno Rodeo and Artown.
