What if every child knew success was an option?

Being a Big Brother or Big Sister is one of the most enjoyable things you’ll ever do, and one of the most fulfilling. You have the opportunity to help shape a child’s future by empowering them to achieve success. And the best part is that it's fun to share the kinds of activities you already like to do with your "Little."

Think you might want to make a Big difference?

You might think you don't have what it takes to be a mentor or role model, but what our Littles need is just time to have fun with a friend, time to be a kid. The only requirements to be a Big are

  • you have been in the area six months or more,
  • you are planning to be in the area for at least 18 months,
  • you are 18 (for Site Based Program) or 21 (Community Based Program),
  • you have your own vehicle,
  • and you can commit to spending one to two hours per week with your Little for at least a year.

Volunteer now!

Spend time on the playground. Share lunch at school. Go on a hike. Read books. Or just give some advice and inspiration. Whatever it is you enjoy, odds are you’ll enjoy them even more with your Little — and you’ll be making a life-changing impact.
